Statement of Faith

The Foundation for Young Orphans is a Christian organization that whole heartedly proclaims Jesus is Lord. Jesus, the Son of God, was born of a virgin, crucified, died, and was buried in a borrowed tomb. On the third day, Jesus, our Savior, arose from the dead by the resurrection power of the Most High God and ascended into heaven where He sits on the right hand our Father's throne. And in His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe in the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one".(1John 5:7)

We believe that "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3)

We believe in the power of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8)

We believe that all things are possible through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:13)

We believe in eternal life after death and all who confess Jesus as Lord and believe that He is raised from the dead shall be saved. (Romans 10: 9-10)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, and class differences

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe and accept the charge our heavenly Father has given The Foundation for Young Orphans to look after the orphans and the widows. Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. (James 1:27)
