Our strategic approach in human resources development goes beyond providing possibilities for further training. We believe that it is our co-workers who contribute most to the success of our organization. They work as partners in a spirit of understanding and confidence, while teamwork is promoted in order for new ideas to be developed. A culture which gives incentive for learning and creativity is nurtured. The need for individual training is examined and performance is evaluated to support the lasting development of each individual co-worker. Long-term employment is desirable: it contributes to gathering experience as well as to creating continuity and the stable environment that children need for their development. A strong management, efficient delegation and participation in planning- and decision-making processes motivate the co-workers to assume responsibility for their work within a clearly defined framework of standards and tasks.
Special attention is paid to the further development and recognition of the professional group of the FYO mothers, who make up the biggest group of co-workers. Within the framework of this initiative the FYO mother and staff training centers are important tools.
The success of the organization not least depends on the visions, strengths and skills of its management. Therefore, the FYO executive is called upon to develop in the fields of human resources management, strategic planning and successful ways of dealing with changes. Another important factor for the development of executives is that of learning from each other, while the exchange of good Practices is as much promoted as is constructive feedback.
