Task Description

Foundation for Young Orphans USA in registered in New York and is providing you with a volunteer opportunity to participate in not-for-profit governance by setting policies, providing guidance and reviewing performance.
Work from your home on your own computer, yet make a big difference all over the world. All board and committee meetings are conducted online. Writing letters and email messages to potential donors, partner organizations and government officials is often required.

Additional information

No deadlines and duration for the proposed project. We would mainly communicate through email and we would provide the volunteer with info necessary to perform his/her assignment. We are open of course for other suggestions concerning the way of communication!

Objectives

To support the organization's ability to fulfill its mission by: monitoring programs and activities to ensure that FYO meets its fiduciary, ethical and legal responsibilities; and serving as advocates for FYO by engaging in activities that will promote visibility in the community as well as garner financial support for FYO's programs and services.

Specific requirements

Volunteers who have experience with similar project or a volunteer who is committed and has excellent communication skills, Knowledge on fund raising/grants/writing project proposals for a non profit organization and administration.
