The Foundation for Young Orphans runs more than 6 facilities, projects and programs all over the country and these are always in need of help. If you are looking to make a donation to a specific aid project, then you need look no further.

Programs and special projects

By choosing areas of need such as the building or funding of projects related to septic systems, wells, vehicles, kitchens, emergency medical funds, bunk beds, etc. You affect the most basic issues of the boys and girls in the Homes you help.

General operating funds

Without faithful donors or grants to cover our operation costs, our growth will stagnate. Our core systems and infrastructure depends on it. This is the hardest money for Foundation for Young Orphans to raise. We send 100% of all designated funds directly through to children's programs and homes. That is made possible through mature givers who know the importance of tight controls and accountability that is maintained through the General Operating Fund.

Prayer

Foundation for Young Orphans as a formal prayer list for orphans which may be obtained by request. In addition, we ask that you pray for the field personnel and villagers whose response to the Holy Spirit brings a childhood to a child who might not have had one otherwise.

• Becoming an active member and supporter and contribute ideas and articles for NGO Forum publications. Membership is for organizations and can be full, associate or affiliate membership.
• Promote the objective and values of the Forum and contribute funds, time and other forms of support
• You can become a volunteer or an affiliate.

Projects in the pipeline

FYO, with the help of some generous friends, would like to purchase a 21-acre piece of land about 16 miles out of kampla. The land will be used to establish a boarding primary school and it will also serve as home to some of the orphans who are completely without a home. However, children from the local community around will also benefit from the school. There will be section of the school to cater as home to orphans who are without homes. In future, FYO plans to expand the school to offer vocational subjects.

The land is also to be used for commercial projects such as farming, both in crop and animal husbandry. Beyond that there are also other types of facilities and aid programs such as Area Development Programs (ADPs). Whose main intention it is to improve living conditions for families in the neighborhood on a long-term basis. The social centers, kindergartens, medical centers, training centers and schools are not only used by children and youths from the Foundation for young orphans but are also there for the general public. The emphasis lies in providing further education, a basic medical service and in improving the social conditions in the long-term.

Foundation for young orphans tries to help during acute times of need, such as natural disasters or conflicts, by putting rapid and un-bureaucratic emergency relief programs into action. These are especially aimed at providing children, women and families with urgently needed support.
