Foundation for young orphans is dedicated to serving and ministering to the physical and spiritual needs of orphaned, abandoned and incarcerated children, youth and widows.

Our Projects offer assistance to Orphans and Vulnerable Children. Since our inception, the primary focus has been to advocate for Children's rights, support, educate and keep in touch with Families. This ensures ongoing home based care such as: conducting workshops, seminars, and sessions for stake holders. We also assist orphans and vulnerable who have never attended school or those who sadly, had to drop-out, are helped back into the system and assisted with skills, such as: tailoring, bricklaying, amongst others. We also offer advice, mediation, advocacy, networking issues concerning orphans, vulnerable children and youth.

We assist communities in forming local mutual support groups and creating income generating activities. We also participate actively in the fight against AIDS through a wide range of programs. Disease-free Water/Sanitation/hygiene In Africa , 80% of the children do not have access to clean water. In many areas, women and children must walk for hours to find water. At the same time, animals are drinking and urinating in it! Animal carcasses often lie rotting at the edge of the water.

FYO is looking for Partners to support water sanitation projects and to build more community schools in villages where women and children do not have easy access to these essentials of life. Hygiene Clinics Programs are created to safe guard children's welfare. Other areas of emphasis include: providing for material, emotional and spiritual needs; including career assistance, moral guidance and primary healthcare.
